As part of our commitment to community safety, in August the Over 55s Chinese Group hosted a safety session with police in our Hurstville office.  Senior Constable Ray Kerridge and the Multicultural Community Liaison Officer, Kim Fenwick, from the Crime Prevention Unit at St George Police Area Command  Lead the session and helped the group understand when and how to contact the police, including how to ask for an interpreter and discussed scam prevention.

One of the interpreters for the group Linda said, “The group’s favourite part was having guest speakers and getting to learn about scams from Police themselves”.
