St George Community Housing is keen to connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander customers. We have two geographically defined Aboriginal Reference Groups (one for Gibbons Street, Redfern, the other for south-west Sydney).  

Since 2013, SGCH has been working across our large portfolio of properties to be more culturally smart in our customer service and to play our part in Bridging the Gap through services for homeless people, in addition to social and affordable housing.  

 We are very keen to invite our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander customers to attend our next Aboriginal Reference Group meeting. The groups meet just a few times each year to discuss what SGCH is planning with Aboriginal customers and to share ideas on how we can do better.
