Every year, SGCH celebrates the achievements of primary and secondary school students who have been awarded a Strive Scholarship to use towards their education. This year, we received 373 applications for the K-12 Scholarships, and we want to convey our deepest thanks for all your applications.  Our selection panel was deeply impressed by your applications and your commitment to pursuing your educational goals. To all the applicants, your dedication and perseverance are inspiring, and we are proud to be part of your journey.

We started the Strive scholarship program in 2006, and we have witnessed some amazing accomplishments, including students who were the first in their families to complete Year 12, and the first to go to university or go on to further studies. Strive scholars have achieved qualifications in a wide range of subjects to pursue career goals to work in architecture, engineering, construction trades, nursing, and even start their own businesses.  

This program is one of the most important ways that we, as a community housing provider, help to enrich the lives of our tenants, their families and communities.
