Traders In Purple, the group partnering with Homes NSW to develop the Humphries Precinct, is making good progress with civil works in stages 8 to 11 and is currently constructing new homes in stage 7B. Homes NSW is planning the next stages (12 and 13) and anticipates development approval for early works in the second half of 2024. Apartment buildings have been proposed on the approved concept plan for these sites. Since apartments take longer to obtain approvals for and to build, work on these homes is not expected to start until late 2025 or early 2026. St George Community Housing will work closely with residents living in stage 12 and 13 areas who need to relocate once planning is finalised.
